I saw my first Arsenal match in 2004, in Highbury. It was a mid-season match against Middlesbrough, and my uncle had somehow (presumably at great expense) landed fourth-row seats, sitting at a right angle to the home goal.
Sol Campbell, Robert Pires, Thierry Henry, Patrick Viera, even Seaman. Yes, it was the old guard, the team that still knew what it felt like to make a viable title challenge....
